I will agree with the others on this one as well. Openly gay character makes the idea of the story more to life, rather than the 3rd persona, which was a pain considering they utilized the whole sickness thing.

I agree.. the character development is a lot better and the whole "murder mystery" thing helps too. Atlus has put a fair number of improvements into Persona 4 over 3... I'm still playing 3 though :)
